The word, “Rappold” itself is composed of old Germanic words meaning, “bold counsel”, or “brave advice”. It is also my last name, through my father’s side. Its use honors my grandparents’ legacy; each led lives filled with integrity and a deep knowledge of craft.
Counterpart is my EU based creative production firm. We service international clientele across website, editorial and identity systems. Our designs traverse a broad variety of styles, primarily for brands with an experimental yet intentional nature. I founded Counterpart as an evolution of my solo practice; at this time, I am unavailable for one-on-one projects, thank you.
Though currently based out of Warsaw, I maintain a shared office in New York City, where I lived and worked for a decade. This space acts as a library and home-base of community; an intimate and special haven tucked above Williamsburg, just off South 3rd & Bedford Avenue.
