Christina (Rappold) is an independent designer who, after living & working in NYC for a decade, relocated to Warsaw with her husband Miki.

Her non-focused body of work is rooted from the joy of designing custom processes. Whether a project is centered around interiors, furniture, or digital design, her combined skillset creates unique pathways between authenticity, creativity, possibility and performance.

Christina maintains a shared studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, as a resource hub and collaboration space for continued U.S. based client relations.

The word, “Rappold” itself comes from old Germanic roots meaning, “bold counsel”, or “brave advice”.

Creativity is at the heart of this advisory practice; even websites often originate from hand-drawn sketches. References are usually found from old books, archives, museums, and natural surroundings. Often, designs are iterated upon collaboratively as clients develop their own instincts, inspirations and vision.

Left: Key reference—an old Polish calendar clipping—and subsequent designs for rappold.co’s navigation system.

In 2026, for larger-scope projects, I launched Counterpart. Counterpart offers international design services across Identity, Image and Interface.

I partner with collaborators in the field to oversee subsequent project management, production and refinement of design-results. Each and every partner is hand-selected from my rolodex, developed from a decade of developed relationships and vetted performers across multiple creative industries.
